Financial Support
Although Legal Action of Wisconsin receives funding from many
different sources, including Legal Services Corporation, the Wisconsin
Trust Account Foundation, government grants and private foundation
grants, it depends very heavily on private
donations to the Equal Justice Coalition
campaign. Since 1997, individual
attorneys and law firms have pledged
more than $1 million in unrestricted funds
to legal services through the
Equal Justice Coalition.
Legal Action is also a member of the workplace giving campaigns
ACHOICE in Milwaukee and Community Shares in Madison.
