SeniorLAW is a program of Legal Action
of Wisconsin, Inc., dedicated to serving individuals who are
60 and older. Our office is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This site contains information about the services we can
provide to seniors, a calendar of our upcoming educational
presentations and events, a list of our publications and
copies of some of our publications for you to download,
general information about some public benefits available
to seniors, and a special Medicare Advantage information
area where you can learn about new options available in
Medicare health plans and your rights under these new plans.

The SHIP Manual is a resource for advocates. It is provided as an
informational tool which we hope will help you be better able to
provide accurate information to the older persons you serve.
Although the information in this manual is current as of the
date of printing September 2006), the programs discussed change often.
It is important that you check on the statuts of these programs and
review their eligibility requirements frequently.
This manual is an informational tool only and is not intended as
legal advice. Persons requiring legal advice or assistance
with a benefits issue should consult with a qualified elder law
attorney or their benefit specialist.
